Job Description

CCP Games is seeking a Brand Director to lead marketing efforts for the community driven spaceship MMO, EVE Online.

EVE Online is a genre-defining multiplayer online universe that continues to win awards and delight participants over a decade after its release. More than just a game, EVE Online empowers people to create social connections and meaningful interactions in a rich alternate reality.
The Brand Director will set the strategy for EVE Online’s continued success and help lead the team into the future. Working with a world-renowned group of game developers and content creators, you will drive growth, inspire change, and build the future of online service marketing.
The position is based in Reykjavik, Iceland.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead continued growth and development of the EVE Online brand in an ever-evolving online landscape
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with key internal product leaders
  • Provide strategic and tactical marketing leadership across a diverse publishing organization
  • Develop and own the product positioning, messaging framework and brand identity to guide marketing and communications
  • Empower players, employees, and partners to become brand advocates and evangelists
  • Direct and coordinate internal resources and external agencies to achieve business goals
  • Analyze and act on key performance indicators to drive value

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications, Business, Economics, or related experience required; MBA preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Brand Marketing
  • 3+ years of experience managing a digital IP, online service, or entertainment property from a brand/marketing perspective
  • Familiarity and experience with software development practices preferred
