Tempo is seeking an experienced Team Lead to join growing development teams in Reykjavík.  You will be providing technical leadership to development teams by facilitating team meetings such as daily standups, planning and reviews, and meeting with individual team members to foster professional growth and mentorship. You will also be responsible for the technical leadership of the team, such as performance, security, quality, test coverage, documentation, and continuous integration and delivery of the software. The role involves: Delivering quality software by effectively leading teams, removing roadblocks and facilitating timely decision making. As a UI/UX designer, you’ll work closely with Tempos product and engineering teams to design and develop solutions that resolve customers’ issues. The work goes beyond making things pretty as you will have to use your understanding of users’ needs and wants to guide your creativity. You will be doing user research and brainstorming to come up with unique features that are tailored to the users of the product. The role involves: Creating great user experiences that delight users while improving the bottom line. The ideal candidate:    Is someone who leads with influence and not authority, enabling you to work with a variety of different personality types, professional disciplines and seniority levels in order to bring your vision to fruition. Is technical enough to understand APIs, and our customers and can collaborate with our engineering team on both high level architecture and product decisions. Is someone with an eye for design and an ability to work with designers to think through how your product will be used. Has at least 5 years of product development experience (in a combination of engineering, design or product management) with at least 3 in a product management role.
